Sea Kayakingwith the Boston AMC |
|||||
We're a program within the Paddlers Committee of the Boston Chapter of the Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC) and our goal is to operate a safe and well-organized program of sea kayaking within the New England area.
We run a variety of activities including: clinics, introductory instructional trips, easy day trips, intermediate day trips, and overnight trips. These trips are all led by volunteers although we use professional outfitters to assist us for certain types of trips. If you are interested in a particular trip, contact the trip's leader or co-leader per the trip listing; he or she will have some questions about your paddling background and can advise you on the appropriateness of the trip for your level of experience and skill. Please refer to the following links for additional information and background about sea kayaking in general and our trips on the New England coast in particular.
We use Google Groups to send out occasional (typically no more than monthly) updates about new trips and other matters of interest to local paddlers. We will not use your name for other purposes including sharing it with others. Contact the Webmaster (Gordon Haff) at paddling (at) bitmasons.com for additional information. |
